Pewter earrings made for pierced ears. Each one is a sunflower. "Elizabeth Cady Stanton was 'Sunflower.' The first newspaper for women, The Lily, was issued from 1849 until 1853. The paper was edited by Amelia Bloomer, of "Bloomer costume" fame. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, under the pseudonym 'Sunflower,' wrote articles fo The Lily. The earliest of Stanton's articles dealt with temperance, childbearing, and education, but she soon turned to writing about laws unfair to women and demanded change." Made in the U.S.A.
